They have contracted other Real estate companies that are related to aid in the construction. Maybe that could have an influence on the price being “not so affordable” to the average Ghanaian.
1. Affordable Houses In Asokore Mampong (Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II)
Under the auspices of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), this government-affiliated project includes 91 apartment blocks comprising 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units, with the capacity to house over 1,000 individuals. The project, which began in 2006, was completed and renamed after the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, in May 2020. However, concerns have been raised about the pricing of the apartments, with prices ranging from GHS 99,000 to GHS 335,000. This is well known for affordable housing in Kumasi.
